Symmetrio is actively recruiting multiple Field Service Engineers nationwide for its client, a leading multi-national medical device company. The primary responsibility of these engineers will be to provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for linear accelerators and other advanced medical equipment. These professionals will travel to various customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Additionally, they will offer training and guidance to customers on the proper operation and upkeep of their equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair designated medical equipment within an assigned service territory
Manage time effectively to handle preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, and customer calls
Assess and prioritize the urgency of customer requests and follow through to completion
Escalate incidents when necessary and request additional assistance from senior representatives
Examine and resolve difficult customer issues, meeting established FSE performance levels
Maintain effective territory management and expense control
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships using excellent communication skills
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree, technical/vocational training, or military experience preferred)
2-5 years of related experience in electronics and medical equipment maintenance
Strong knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical engineering principles
Proficiency in using testing equipment for verification, checkout, and calibration
Solid computer skills, including troubleshooting software and network issues
Ability to diagnose and solve complex mechanical problems
Experience with vacuum systems and related components
Meet all vendor credentialing requirements for client site access (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunizations)
Desired Skills and Knowledge
Ability to handle difficult customer situations while troubleshooting
Experience as primary support for specific machine accounts
Familiarity with business tools such as email, Microsoft Office suite
Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) or equivalent ERP systems
