Job Description
As an intern, responsibilities may include some or all the following:
Construction observation duties and documenting construction activities into a daily log.
Communicate with contractors and the project manager regarding the construction activities.
Assist Engineers and Senior Designers with project design, construction plan development while working in engineering related software such as Topo Dot – Micro Station, AutoCAD Civil3D and ArcGIS.
Gather field survey data to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, and contours, etc. by operating electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station.
Feature extracting line work from the LiDAR point cloud.
Travel to various jobsites to obtain necessary survey data and jobsite information.
