Full job description

Summary/Objective: Assemblers are responsible for performing various assembly operations of plastic parts and components. While performing the duties of the position, assemblers are responsible for maintaining a high degree of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for adhering to production schedule.

- Responsible for creating labels for each job and run production.

- Providing finished skids of product to shipping department for final preparation.

- Maintains an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.

- Work with co-workers and lead to ensure material inventories are maintained for uninterrupted operation.

- Follow all work instructions and quality control documentation.

- As requested, assist other team members in cross-training and conduct on-the-job training of other associates.

- Actively participates in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 6S & safety.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

- Experience working in injection molding or manufacturing, preferred.

- Knowledge of computers and scanning equipment, preferred.

- Must be punctual and dependable.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to understand written and verbal communication.

- Ability to work independently.
