Full job description

Hours: MondayTuesdayWednesdayThursday 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. (this shift is an awake shift•YOU MUST stay awake the whole shift to better serve the clients.)

Description : This position reports to the assigned House Manager/Client Service Coordinator.

Essential Requirements and Responsibilities:

Enjoy working with people with developmental disabilities and their families

Be able to communicate well verbally and in writing

Write daily case notes (We use a system called THERAP)

Excellent time management

Ability to work as a team

Ability to manage people (e.g., encourage consumers to take pride in their home and self-care)

Maintain confidentiality and treat each individual with dignity and respect

Be comfortable using cell phones, computers, and related software

Assist at other sites if needed

Assist House Manager in maintaining a safe and clean environment

Conduct self in a professional manner at all times when interacting with consumers, parents, neighbors, advocates, support coordinators, regulatory personnel, etc.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, run, lift, bend, climb, cook, clean, etc.

Must be trustworthy and honest, especially with consumer money

Maintain a current TB test, CPR, and First Aid Certification

Pass a Criminal Background Test

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications : This position requires a high school/GED diploma. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred. Must have a valid Driver's License, a reliable vehicle, maintain valid motor vehicle insurance, and a working contact telephone number. Must have current CPR and current TB Test. PCA/CNA, We don't offer benefits at this time or any PTO.
