Principal Engineer, Subsea Structure & Tie-in

Our cleint performs a key role developing projects and providing expert engineering support worldwide.

They are leading the energy transition from traditional business areas with decarbonised solutions such as CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) to innovative project such as renewables, hydrogen, etc.

Role Overview

A Principal Subsea Structure and Tie-in engineer is required to support offshore deepwater projects.

They will support all the engineering activities related to subsea structure and tie-in systems in the different phases of the project, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for the several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives

Knowledge and Experience

Extensive experience as a Subsea Structure and tie-in Engineer throughout the various phases of project development (from concept development to execution) and handover to operations.
Experience in the technical design of the subsea structures such as Manifolds/PLEMs, PLETs/ILTs, PLRs etc. and tie-in systems from preliminary engineering through detailed design, with knowledge of the main subsea and installation interfaces.
Experience with Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID’s, Risk Assessment
Qualifications

Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.
Demonstrable experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with respect to subsea structures and tie-in systems from preliminary engineering through detailed design.
Flecible Working

Their SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
