We are looking for a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to join the fantastic team at the Bracknell branch. This role will be responsible for carrying out diesel engine and pump maintenance on customers sites and in the branch workshop in Bracknell.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Perform diesel engine and pump maintenance at customer sites and in-house.
* Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols for all tasks.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers on job details and documentation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
* Conduct daily maintenance on company vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
* Keep tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any defects.
* Adhere to PPE and Company Policy procedures as directed by supervisors.

Skills & Experience Required:
Previous demonstrable experience of working with engines or a mechanical engineering background, with the ability to understand underlaying issues and how to resolve them.
* Experience of working in a plant environment, on site with customers and in a workshop would be beneficial.
* Able to listen, take on board information, and be able to translate this into practical solutions.
* Demonstrate a willingness to grow within the role, be open to training opportunities, learning new skills, and be committed to developing upon the knowledge you already have.
* Hold an NVQ in Mechanical, Plant maintenance, or a similar equivalent qualification.
* Full UK driving license, as this role will involve attending site visits and break downs.
* Demonstrate professionalism and customer focus at all times.
Due to the nature of our branch operations this role will involve being part of a call out rota, which has a standby allowance plus excellent overtime payment.

Pay: £45,000- £55,000 + Overtime & On-call allowance + Vehicle
Hours: Full-Time Monday - Friday
Start: Notice Dependant
