Shift Maintenance Engineer

£48,000 - £50,000
We are on the hunt for a well experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a well respected company within the building maintenance sector. Our client is well regarded as one of the largest building maintenance companies in the country, they are looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This role will involve undergoing PPM and reactive maintenance, servicing Electrical or Mechanical equipment,liaising with subcontractors and responding to clients wants and needs. This job follows a continental shift pattern (days and nights).
To be successful in this role you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering . (City and Guilds/NVQ equivalent) The Engineer will need to have at least five years experience within a similar field. It is essential to be hard working and determined to succeed in this role.
Duties:
PPM and Reactive Maintenance.
Electrical Fault-Finding.
Three Phase Power.
Emergency Lighting.
Fire Alarms.
BMS Operation.
HVAC systems.
AHUs.
FCUs.
Generators.
UPS Systems.
VAV/VRFs.
Pumps.
Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc)., Cooling Towers.
Liaise with subcontractors.
Fill out logbooks and any other relevant documents.
Respond to client needs.
Requirements:
City and Guilds qualified in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering or any industry recognised qualification (C&G / NVQ or equivalent)
Apprentice trained and 18th edition - desirable.
Building Services Maintenance experience.
