The role of the Project Manager – General Construction will involve:
* Project Manager role dealing with a range of general construction projects including small works, new builds, refurbishment, internal fit out and demolition
* Reviewing job specifications and pricing documents
* Coordinate with design consultants to achieve cost-effective designs
* Procure and organise delivery of required material and equipment for project lifecycle
* Source and manage subcontract labour
* Ensuring full visibility of activity, costs and risks across all areas of the project
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
* Reporting project progress, status, costs and risk in a regular and timely manner
* Monitoring lead times and customer satisfaction
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager – General Construction with:
* Must have project management experience working for a principal building contractor
* Must be experienced in managing housing developments / renovations / bespoke design & build projects
* Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
* Resilient individual who can resolve site issues in a professional manor
* Ideally will have SMSTS/SSSTS/Asbestos Awareness
* Full UK driving license
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* High levels of organisation
