Secondary History Teacher opportunity

Smile Education Northwest are recruiting for a secondary History teacher role in the Bolton area and want to hear from you!

Location: Bolton
Age group: KS3/4 (ages 11-16)
Payrate: £150-£220 per day

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in history according to UK national curriculum

Ensure all learning outcomes are met
Assess and evaluate student progress
Provide high quality education and care
Use strong behavioural management strategies
Collaborate with other teachers and departments to enrich student success
Requirements:

QTS/PGCE qualifications
Relevant humanities undergraduate degree
ETCs (early careers teachers) are welcome to apply
Experience in a teaching role
2 education-based references in the last 24 months
An enhanced DBS (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you which will be refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role).
Commitment to delivering high quality education
Knowledge of UK curriculum
Passion for teaching and good approach to behavioural management
