Responsibilities:

Take charge of the functional safety lifecycle in various projects, ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards.
Lead, supervise, and motivate engineering teams (both internal and external), overseeing the verification of project deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers, graduates, and trainees, fostering their professional growth.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure on-time, quality project delivery within budget, identifying and addressing potential risks and technical changes.
Participate in the Engineering Management Working Group, shaping internal standards and driving continuous innovation.
Design electrical/control systems, including Functional Design Specifications, Safety Requirements, Single Line Diagrams, and more.
Create software designs and produce configurations for various systems like PLC, HMI, SCADA, and more.
Oversee testing phases, including Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
Maintain ownership of the Technical Construction File.
Additional tasks as required by the project.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

Minimum of BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
At least 7 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
Expertise in electrical control systems with strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational skills.
Adaptable, enthusiastic, and hands-on
