Trainee Service Charge Accountant

My client is a very well established Block Management company based in Borehamwood, who as part of their expansion are seeking an AAT studier with at least 2 years experience of working in an Accounts/Finance role and want to grow into a Service Charge Accountant role. Full training will be given to a person who has a genuine desire to learn in a fast paced environment. This is an office based role.

Attitude is as important as your skills. The role will involve training to learn about:-

* Understanding prepayments and accruals

* Preparation of quarterly and annual management accounts

* Working with the auditors who will audit the accounts

* Credit control – chasing outstanding monies from leaseholders/freeholders

* Bank reconciliations for various different properties

* Sales and purchase ledgers, nominal ledgers

* Producing budgets

* Liaising internally with various departments

* As you will be dealing with 100’s of different bank accounts and funds accuracy is key

This will be a very rewarding role and therefore we are only looking for people who have at least 2 years experience in accounts or finance roles who are studying or completed AAT.
