Deputy Home Manager – Children Residential

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £30k - £31.2k per year *+ additional £4,000-£8,000 per year for sleep-ins

Hours: Full Time 39 per week

Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required

The Recruitment Crowd are currently looking for a Deputy Home Manager for a leading provider of innovative care and education services for children and young people with complex needs, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support, helping young people lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people. You will be responsible for delivering quality care services and strategic planning for developments within the home.

Your key responsibilities include:

* Leading your team and working with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.

* Acting as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.

* Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.

* Overseeing all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.

What Do You Need?

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home.

* NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.

* Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.

* Experience with budgets and rotas.

* A full driving licence is essential.
