Maintenance Technician - NIGHTS

Salary - £58,500 per annum

Shift: Nights - Monday to Friday - 10.30pm to 6.30am

Job Type - Permanent Nights

Location - Oxford

Orion is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the continued growth and innovation. In this role, you will provide mechanical and electrical support on an automated assembly line. Maintenance Engineer benefits

Overtime paid.

28 days' holiday plus bank holidays

10% annual bonus

5% employer contribution pension (uncapped employee contribution)

15% on basic salary for afternoon shift

25% on basic salary for nights shift

Private medical plan with Bupa and 4 x death in service

Other benefits including a cycle to work scheme, flexible working hours and monthly social activities.

Maintenance Engineer duties

Serving as the initial point of contact for machine breakdowns and repairing faults.

Offering technical support to meet production output standards.

Planning and implementing proactive preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

Utilizing mechanical and schematic drawings to aid in fault-finding.

Maintenance Engineer requirements

A strong background in electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair.

Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Previous roles as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician.

Proven knowledge with PLCs, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and robotics.

Organised, self-motivated, and safety-conscious regarding electrical, compressed air, and pressurized systems.
