Job Summary:*
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic dormicilary/Home care care Assistant to join our team around the wakefied area. The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and committed to providing high-quality support to service users/residents in various healthcare settings.
*Responsibilities:*
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Support nurses and doctors in delivering patient care
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Prepare and serve meals and help patients with eating as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
*Qualifications:*
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Mandatory trianing in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
