Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and design outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, campuses, and residential areas, ensuring aesthetic appeal and functionality while considering environmental sustainability.
* Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions, such as soil quality, topography, climate, and vegetation, to inform the design process and ensure suitability for proposed projects.
* Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
* Ensure that landscape designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws, environmental regulations, and accessibility standards.
* Meet with clients to discuss project goals, present design proposals, and make revisions based on client feedback, ensuring that the final design aligns with their vision and requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree in Landscape Architecture alongside experience with Horticulture, Environmental Science, & Site Engineering
* Proficient with CAD, Sketchup, & GIS
* Understanding of ecology, horticulture, plants etc.
* Strong Communication Skills both Written & Verbal
