Role: IT Support Engineer
Salary: Up to £40,000

Location: Northwich Hybrid - 3x Week In-Office + 2 Day WFH - 37.5 Hour week
FruitionIT are currently hiring for an IT Support Engineer to join the IT team of a global Industrial Company with almost 2000 employees across the UK, US & Canada; our client, who are based out of Northwich, are looking for someone with a progressive attitude to grow within their expanding UK branch of the business.
This IT Support Engineer will maintain c50 virtual Servers & c100 endpoints within a VERY unique working environment, this is no normal office. The role will work within a small tight-knit team alongside one other 3rd Line Engineer, reporting directly into the IT Manager.
This client are a Microsoft, Cisco, Aruba house, so you will have the opportunity to work with industry leading technologies, including: Windows Server, Azure, VMWare, O365 stack: Cisco/Aruba Networking - Switches, Access Points, Routers.
This client were voted into the 2023 Great Place to Work initiative for a third consecutive year.
Main responsibilities of the role - IT Support Engineer
- To provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of response to support issues communicated to Helpdesk
- Responsible for the daily administration, IT support, and maintenance of UK infrastructure
- Liaise with the 3rd party 1st line team on complex ticket resolution
- Perform routine backups, patch managements, hot fixes
- Active in the provisioning of IT services throughout the organization both on premise and cloud offerings
You will also have the opportunity to - IT Support Engineer
- Work closely with the more senior 3rd Line Engineer & IT Manager, outlining a clear path for progression
Essential skills & experiences - IT Support Engineer
- Proven experience in the 1st to 3rd Line of IT Support
- Technical experience of a Microsoft stack
(Windows, Azure, Intune, 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange)
- Experience working with Cisco/Aruba hardware
(Switches/Routers/Access Points)
- Experience within retail, industrial, commercial industries
- CompTIA + CCNA Security qualifications
