Our client, a leading retailer based in Essen, is seeking an experienced EDI Technical Consultant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EDI and B2B invoicing to help streamline the invoicing process between suppliers and the business. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining a data format system that enables seamless transmission of invoices via a digital platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EDI solutions to facilitate the automated exchange of B2B invoices between suppliers and the business.
• Design and configure data format systems for invoice processing and transmission via a digital platform.
• Ensure the smooth integration of EDI systems with existing enterprise software, ensuring accurate and timely invoice data transfer.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all invoicing processes are fully aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data handling and security standards in relation to B2B transactions.
• Stay up to date with the latest EDI technologies and best practices to continually optimize the invoicing process.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in EDI particularly in the context of B2B invoicing.
• Proven ability to design and manage data format systems for processing invoices.
• 2-4 years of consulting experience
• Experience in working with digital platforms for invoicing and data transmission.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
