Harvey Nash is pleased to partner with a leading logistics and supply chain organisation in the recruitment of a Distribution Centre Manager. This organisation has recently secured several significant contracts, with operations expanding alongside an existing portfolio that continues to require top-tier logistical solutions.

As a result, our partner is seeking a Distribution Centre Manager to provide direction to the operational management team and support the Head of Hub Operations on strategic initiatives, as well as the further growth of the Hub and DCs.

The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships with both internal and external clients, and will be passionate about delivering outstanding service. You will ensure that your Hub operates efficiently, is properly resourced, and remains cost-effective to meet or exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading your team to create a high-performance environment with a service- and people-oriented culture.
• Managing a team of operational managers, driving quality, and ensuring the hubs are properly resourced in line with data and budget expectations.
• Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, fostering a customer-centric environment within your team.
• Using data to assess the health of the hub and identify trends, ensuring your teams and hubs are appropriately resourced.
• Leading a high-performance team through effective leadership, upskilling, and development of team members.
• Possessing a full, valid UK driving licence and being able to travel as required.
