IT Systems Engineer

• Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to oversee and manage our internal systems and networks. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is hands-on and comfortable with both high-level and day-to-day IT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and functionality of company IT resources, ensuring seamless connectivity and infrastructure performance.

• Manage and maintain internal systems, networks, DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls, VPNs, and printers.
• Ensure system and network security and stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner.
• Provide IT support and guidance to staff.
• Conduct regular system checks and maintenance.
• Travel between two distribution sites as needed, though infrequently to Dorset Business Park.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar IT role.
• Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
• Experience with DHCP, VLAN, Firewalls, networks, VPN, and printers.
• Familiarity with Office 365 is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Full driving license for necessary travel between sites.
