Infrastructure Test Architect

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Test Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure testing strategy for our end client. The candidate will work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure, with a particular focus on virtualization, clustering, load balancing, Firewalls, and disaster recovery (DR) testing.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the infrastructure testing strategy: Define the overall approach to infrastructure testing, including test methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on virtualization, clustering, load balancing, Firewalls, and DR testing.

Design and execute infrastructure test plans: Create detailed test plans that cover various aspects of infrastructure testing, such as performance, load, stress, virtualization, clustering, load balancing, Firewall, and DR testing.

Lead the infrastructure testing team: Provide guidance and mentorship to the infrastructure testing team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to execute test plans effectively.

Collaborate with development and operations teams: Work closely with development and operations teams to understand infrastructure requirements, including virtualization, clustering, load balancing, Firewall, and DR strategies, and ensure that testing aligns with their goals.

Analyze test results and identify defects: Review test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications: - Infrastructure Test Architect

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure testing, with a strong focus on automation, virtualization, clustering, load balancing, Firewalls, and DR testing.
• In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies (eg, VMware, Hyper-V, AWS EC2), clustering techniques (eg, HA, failover), load balancing methods (eg, hardware, software), Firewall technologies (eg, stateful Firewalls, next-generation Firewalls), and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in the context of virtualization, clustering, load balancing, Firewalls, and DR testing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
