Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Duration: 6 months
Rate: £700 - £800 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London (One day per month)

Join a major retailor's Data Science team to drive innovation with cutting-edge ML/AI technologies. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you'll develop and deploy algorithms, tackle complex data challenges, and support commercial objectives. Advanced Python skills, Time Series forecasting, and experience with GCP are vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and deployment of ML/AI algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science into products and processes.
  • Build predictive models for Markdown and Promotions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced Python Skills: Proficient with Python's data analysis tools Jupyter, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib) and have worked on production level Python code(.
  • Time Series and Forecasting: Strong experience with Time Series analysis and predictive modelling.
  • GCP and VertexAI: Experience in deploying ML models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and using VertexAI.
  • Software Engineering: Strong software engineering capabilities with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
  • Machine Learning: Expertise in classical and modern ML algorithms (eg, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, BERT, LSTM).
