Job Title: Machine Tool Service Engineer
Location: Based within an hour of Bristol, covering customer sites
Pay Range/Details: £35,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Bonus Scheme
Contract Type: Permanent
Omega are supporting a leading machine tool supplier in their search for an experienced Machine Tool Service Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both field and in-house machinery service, maintenance, and installation.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Tool Service Engineer
Decommission and install machinery at customer sites, including CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and drive trains.
Provide first-line breakdown service and maintenance for machine tools and industrial plant systems.
Assist with in-house machinery preparation, including powering up machines for showroom demonstrations.
Complete service reports, timesheets, and relevant documentation in line with company procedures.
Work closely with customers, acting as an ambassador for the company.
Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Tool Service Engineer
Apprentice-trained with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Experience with machine tools or industrial plant systems (CNC experience desirable).
Ability to fault-find and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems.
