Due to continued success and company growth, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer from a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background ideally within the print, packaging, pharmaceutical, or food industry. This is a home-based role with extensive UK travel staying away potentially 4 nights a week all paid for by the company. Our client really invests in their people and like to develop their staff to be the best that they can be, and they offer a variety of benefits outside the usual salary.
This is a hands on technical support role so we need someone with first class mechanical knowledge who will be able to ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional customer services and first- time fix interventions.

Field Service Engineer Main Responsibilities:
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and team members.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
Team Work: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
Personal Effectiveness: Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Service, Maintenance, and Repairs: Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems.
Technical Competence: Apply technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering.
Flexibility: Adapt to varying work schedules and travel requirements.
Administration: Complete necessary administrative tasks accurately and on time.
The successful Field Service Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience or willingness to work as a Field Service Engineer
Full UK driver's license
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
