Mechanical Fitters required for the assembly of specialised rotating machinery within the rubber mixing sector.
The role involves the fitting and building of large capital machinery. Previous experience working on turbines or rotating machinery is preferred but not essential as training is provided.
It is vital that applicants have the ability to interpret technical drawings and hold a recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components according to schematic drawings.
Install and align pumps, motors, valves and pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Machine assembly, drilling, tapping, using hand tools / power tools
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
