Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Yard Operative With FLT to join our business in Sheffield on a permanent basis. The starting salary is between £25000 - £30000 per annum and the working hours are Between the hours of 06:30 – 17:00.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

⦁ Loading and unloading of lorries
⦁ Dealing with customers daily
⦁ Responsible for stock placement and general housekeeping
⦁ Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
⦁ Operating Counterbalance/ FLT on site
⦁ Candidates will be expected to manoeuvre stock within manual handling guidelines

Experience and Skills:

⦁ Must have experience in Building Merchants
⦁ Must have an in date and accredited FLT license.
⦁ Must have working experience as a Yard Operative
⦁ Knowledge of the building trade in an advantage
⦁ Proven track record with Customer service in a similar role- essential
⦁ Flexibility is a must
⦁ Candidates must be physically fit as product handled can at time be heavy and to the manual handling guideline limit
