Hours: 37 hours per week, Term time plus 1 week (Perm role)

Working Hours: 8:15 am - 4:15 pm (3:45 pm on Fridays) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
We are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in a specialist school with a focus on engineering, catering to students aged 14-19 with interests in Science, Computing, and Mathematics. As our student numbers grow, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Cover Supervisor to join our team and support our students in various ways.
Responsibilities:
* Provide supervision and ensure a productive learning environment during teacher absences.
* Accompany and support students during school trips to ensure their safety and engagement.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task during lessons.
* Work closely with teachers to understand lesson objectives and support student learning.
Requirements:
* Educated to Level3 (A Level, NVQIII) or above
* GCSE equivalents in English and Maths at Grade C or above
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
* Flexibility to adapt to different classroom settings and student needs.
* A commitment to student welfare and a positive school culture.
