Senior System Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the telecommunication sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing and optimizing cache and authoritative DNS infrastructure to ensure efficient and reliable domain name resolution
• Designing and improving the DHCP infrastructure while maintaining public IP address allocation for seamless network operations
• Enhancing the Radius accounting and authentication platform to ensure secure and efficient user access management
• Implementing and fine-tune the IP Address Management platform for accurate tracking and allocation of IP resources
• Creating and maintaining automation scripts and workflows to streamline operational processes and reduce manual effort
• Overseeing the lab server environment, ensuring proper management, maintenance, and functionality for testing and development purposes

Your experience/knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience with large-scale DNS, DHCP and Radius installations in an ISP environment
• Strong expertise in implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP
• Proficient Scripting skills in one Scripting language like Python, Perl, PHP, SQL, ot Ansible for automation and system management
• Expert-level knowledge in UNIX/Linux system administration
• Good Networking knowledge at least at the CCNA level, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical team members
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field

Your soft skills:

• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
• Capability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical team members
