Cyber Security Specialist - Poland - 6months +

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an Cyber Security Specialist for an exciting project with a global FMCG client of ours.

Requirements for the Cyber Security Specialist are:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in security technologies such as Firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across various departments.

Job responsibilities:

  • Vendor Requirements Collection: Gather and review cybersecurity requirements from vendors to ensure they meet our security standards.
  • Security Controls Management: Evaluate and implement cybersecurity controls across systems and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Business Consultation: Address cybersecurity-related questions from different departments within the business, providing clear and actionable advice.
  • Training and Development: Develop and conduct cybersecurity training programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to best practices.
  • Incident Response: Assist in the development and execution of incident response plans, including regular drills and updates.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all security policies, procedures, and incidents.

Contract details:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6months +
  • Location: Poland
  • Contract: Freelance
