Role: Electronics Assembler
Job Term: Ongoing work with permanent opportunities for the right candidate
Location: Sandbach, CW11
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7.45am - 4.30pm Friday 8am-12.30pm
Pay: £11.60 - £11.90 per hour depending on experience
Job Description: The role requires a strong competence in hand soldering of electronic components to IPC-A-610 standards. You will be working in our manufacturing department on our production line, carrying out assemblies for quantities of 10 off to several hundred units at a time.
Responsibilities include:
* • Complete through hole soldering on PCB’s to high quality standards.
* • Hand placement of Surface Mount components to PCB’s (as required)
* General Product Assembly of completed PCB’s into housings (as required)
* Wiring and Cable Assembly (as required)
* Complete orders in a timely manner to meet process targets.
* Complete basic tests on products
* Follow Parts lists and AP’s to exact instruction.
* Complete paperwork accurately on completion of processes.
* Demonstrate full component value knowledge or ability to read colour charts.
* Work as part of a team to ensure items are completed on time and in full.
* Responsible for general housekeeping in own working area as well as communal areas.
* Be aware of health and safety requirements within the manufacturing division and take responsibility for own personal work station.
* Operate machinery in line with operation instructions (Training provided)
* Report queries to the Team leader.
Required Experience:
Previous experience is essential. Hand soldering of SMT and TH is a MUST.
