The Data Engineer will lead a team tasked with utilizing AI/ML solutions to better optimize data within our environment. The ideal Data Engineer will have a background in AI/ML Engineering that is familiar with AI/ML solutions and has experience leveraging AI/ML to better optimize data. The Data Engineer will apply data mining techniques perform statistical analysis and build high-quality prediction models. The Data Engineer’s ability to obtain data through advanced computerized models and extrapolation of data patterns through advanced algorithms to explain how the information will influence the specific project will be an essential function to providing customers a better comprehension of the data.

Requirements

Responsible for the technical development of best-in-class data engineering solutions to support our data needs and AI teams

Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions

Architecting both batch and event based data solutions

Understand the business needs and deliver innovative and robust data engineering solutions

Build data pipelines that power Data decision making

10+ years of hands-on data engineering experience across both batch and event driven architecture

Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, as well as SQL

Strong grasp of distributed data processing tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, as well as AWS Cloud Native Services

Experience with orchestration tools

Demonstrated capability in data modeling and modern data warehouses

Drive data-driven decision-making and innovation across ongoing and new data needs

Your expertise in data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning will be critical in developing and executing strategies that optimize data collection and streamline recommendations for our customer

Deliver strategic insights and build data products to drive operational efficiency

Collaborate with AI, Learning, and Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, User Experience experts, Software Engineers, and Product Owners who utilize the agile framework and design thinking practices to execute rigorous backlogs and deliver high-powered solutions

Passion for data engineering, modeling, and cloud technologies

Experience working cross-functional teams to solve complex data architecture and engineering problems

Demonstrated ability to learn new data and software engineering technologies in short amount of time

Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and manage multiple priorities

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate ideas, concepts and solutions to stakeholders at all levels

Service-oriented, flexible, and approachable team player

Doctorate or PhD Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field

Providing strategic & analytic insights, with an emphasis on identifying, monitoring, and optimizing key metrics

Developing data-driven product solutions and defining and executing organization-wide data strategies

Help develop customer data strategy, identifying what data we collect, when we collect it, and how we model and interpret the data to optimize decisions
