Are you a passionate and compassionate educator looking to make a positive impact on the life of a young person? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a high-functioning pupil with autism in a Year 4 classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to a pupil with autism, ensuring their academic and social needs are met.
Work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored learning strategies.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the pupil's emotional well-being.
Encourage and support the pupil's participation in school activities and social interactions.
Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs.
A strong understanding of autism and its impact on learning and behaviour.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and empathetic approach.
A commitment to providing high-quality support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
