Lead Occupational Therapist

Permanent | Full time role based in Birmingham.

Salary: up to £51,000 per annum.

Our well established client are looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Manage the OT team and oversee the clinical supervision of all staff within the OT team.

To lead and participate in clinical work and to promote a high standard of expertise within the OT department.

To undertake specialist clinical assessments where required for the relevant service lines provided for example Sensory assessments.

To be responsible for the allocation and prioritisation of workload for all OT staff in the team.

To act as an expert resource on Occupational Therapy, providing specialist support and advice to the Occupational Therapy team.

Qualifications & Experience:

HCPC registered

Occupational Therapy degree

Experience in acute sector clinical OT

Experience of supervising / teaching under and post graduate staff

Inpatient experience (where leading inpatient therapy teams)
