With offices and hubs throughout the UK and Europe, AVK has the operational scale and delivery capability to implement cutting-edge solutions, helping our clients meet their power requirements while achieving their sustainability goals.
Role
Our Emissions Services division is one of the fastest-growing areas of the business, playing a pivotal role in our commitment to reducing environmental impact and enhancing energy efficiency through advanced emissions control technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the management and successful delivery of emissions control projects. Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Assist in the management of emissions-related projects with a focus on achieving maximum efficiency and effectiveness in project performance.
* Supplier Management: Oversee and manage both on-site and off-site suppliers to ensure work quality aligns with AVK's standards and customer expectations.
* Contractual Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of the contractual requirements of each project, including payment milestones, key dates, technical specifications, and Health & Safety protocols.
* Project Review and Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of each project at handover from Project Sales, analysing commercial, contractual, and technical aspects, and escalating identified risks to senior leadership when necessary.
* Resource Planning: Strategically plan and allocate resources to ensure the successful delivery of projects while achieving both commercial and technical objectives.
* Decision-Making: Make informed day-to-day decisions to support project customers and manage contracts, ensuring tasks are completed within set deadlines.
* Testing and Compliance: Attend factory and site acceptance tests as required, which may involve weekend work or international travel, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
* Timely Delivery: Guarantee the on-time delivery of projects, ensuring that all technical requirements are met according to contract terms.
* Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the commercial team to prepare and present financial reports, highlighting any concerns or key issues.
* Engineering Coordination: Work closely with the technical team to agree on engineering designs, prepare detailed project plans, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
* Industry Knowledge: While emissions control experience is a plus, it is not mandatory for this role.
