Senior Accountant – Fareham circa £50k

In line with strong and continued growth, both in the UK and overseas, our client is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, responsibilities will include:

Accounting for a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries
Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad hoc investor queries
Deal with the completion of routine audit queries
Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions are completed within a robust control environment
Act as a mentor to others in the team

About you:

A qualified candidate ACA or ACCA either from professional practice seeking a move away from audit or a commercial business where you will have held a relevant / financial accounting role.

Candidates should experience of the preparation of statutory financial statements and ideally, of reviewing statutory accounts.

Strong IT, team playing and communication skills are essential.
