Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – ASD Secondary SEN School
Location: Croydon Borough
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £110 to £120 per day PAYE

We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team at an amazing ASD Secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) school located in the Croydon borough.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students in an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classroom, helping to maintain a structured learning environment.
Lead the class independently for one day a week during the teacher's allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.
Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to deliver tailored learning plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with students with ASD or within an SEN environment is essential.
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
