About The Job:
As an Accounts Assistant at our client's organisation, you will be an integral part of the Finance Team, assisting them with various financial tasks in a vibrant and fast-paced setting. Your attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and previous experience in accounts will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records and efficient processes.
Responsibilities:
Enter financial data into books, spreadsheets, or relevant accountancy software
Organise and maintain financial records for easy access
Track and locate invoices, receipts, and purchase orders
Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to maintain accuracy
Create purchase orders to support procurement processes
Assist with customer and supplier queries, providing exceptional customer service
Set up customer accounts and manage direct debit mandates
Process payment runs for accounts payable
Monitor the accounts inbox and promptly respond to customer queries
Engage with suppliers regarding invoices, maintaining professional relationships
Chase payments to ensure timely collections
