Role Overview:
The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects, focusing on HVAC systems, ductwork, and piping installations. The role requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, project management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage mechanical projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Coordinate and supervise the installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, and piping.
* Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Lead and coordinate with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with mechanical, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure project quality standards.
* Prepare progress reports, manage client relationships, and address any project issues.
* Oversee procurement of materials and ensure availability for project timelines.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in managing mechanical projects, particularly HVAC, piping, and ductwork.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design, and installation practices.
* Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in scheduling and budgeting tools.
* Strong leadership and communication abilities.
