Our client is a fit-out contractor who work on super high end projects in Central London.
They're looking for a Health & Safety Manager to work on a super high end project in Mayfair.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor the project’s health and safety plan, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement corrective actions.
* Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders on all health, safety, and environmental matters.
* Lead incident investigations, including near misses, and ensure that root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
* Deliver health and safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel are aware of their responsibilities and are equipped to work safely.
* Promote a positive safety culture by engaging with site teams, encouraging safe working practices, and recognizing positive safety behavior.
* Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations and industry standards.
* Compile and present health and safety reports, performance metrics, and audit findings to senior management and clients.
* Manage and maintain safety documentation, including method statements, permits, and safety records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
* Act as the main point of contact for all health and safety-related matters on the project, liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
