Commercial Van Sales Manager

Our client are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the automotive industry. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals. Provide guidance and support in developing effective sales strategies and tactics.

* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial vehicle market. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, fleet operators, and key industry stakeholders.

* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives and market trends. Analyze sales data and market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

* Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budget plans. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

* Customer Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with existing customers and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

* Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest commercial vehicle trends, features, and specifications. Provide product training to the sales team to enhance their knowledge and selling capabilities.

* Team Development: Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the sales team's skills and performance. Encourage professional development and provide constructive feedback.

* Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve the sales process to streamline operations and maximize efficiency. Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance sales operations.

* Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the market. Utilize market insights to drive business decisions and strategies.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in commercial vehicle sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.

* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

* Knowledge of commercial vehicle regulations and compliance is advantageous.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
