J Squared Solutions is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client for the position of a Commercial or Domestic Gas Engineer based in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, on-site role with an attractive salary package of £50,000 per annum.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work on a variety of gas engineering tasks, including installations, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems in either commercial and domestic settings. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and safety at client locations, providing expert support across multiple sectors including private customers, housing associations, letting agents, facilities management companies, and landlords.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform plumbing and heating system installations, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
* Respond to emergency calls and complete reactive maintenance as required.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other team members when necessary to complete larger projects.
* Ensure all tasks are completed to regulatory standards and meet Health & Safety requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
* Plumbing and Gas Safe qualifications with experience in either commercial or domestic environments.
* Strong experience in pipe maintenance and repair.
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Relevant industry certifications such as Gas Safe Registered (or willingness to become registered).
* A solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
