Town Planner or Senior Town Planner
Location: Leicester

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join a Town Planning Consultancy based in Leicester. In this role, you'll work on a variety of exciting projects, from residential developments and commercial ventures to heritage conservation and strategic master planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and reports
Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
Conducting site appraisals and feasibility studies
Preparing planning policy and development strategies
Providing expert advice on heritage, conservation, and environmental considerations
Representing clients at public consultations, hearings, and planning committeesAbout You:

A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field
Chartered membership of the RTPI (or working towards chartership)
Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and processes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience in managing multiple projects and clients
Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities
Senior applicants should have a proven track record of handling complex planning applications and appealsInterested?
