Role: HR Advisor
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to care homes)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 6 month FTC (with view to extension/permanent)
Are you a dynamic and proactive HR professional looking for a varied and fast-paced role? We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our team and support our small portfolio of care homes. This is a remote role with some travel required to our homes, for which travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Manage recruitment across our homes, ensuring candidates have a positive experience through platforms such as Indeed and Care Friends.
Absence Management: Provide support with absence management, including occupational health referrals, preparing invite letters for absence reviews, and related administration.
Employee Relations (ER): Offer 1st line support for ER-related queries from the 8 homes, helping to resolve HR issues efficiently.
Apprenticeships: Manage apprenticeship applications, liaise with learners, and oversee the government apprenticeship portal.
Data Management: Regularly collate and report data from the homes to support various HR tasks and ensure smooth operations.
Meeting Support: Attend and take notes for any required meetings.
Project Work: Contribute to HR projects that align with our broader strategy.About You:
Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 or 5 is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Experience with recruitment, ER queries, and absence management is a plus.
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer:
