Salary: £61,116.53 (inclusive of 35% holiday bonus for 33 days per year; 25 vacation and 8 bank holidays)

Use data science background to identify new opportunities to boost plant efficiency.
Extract, transform, load, analyse and report complex manufacturing data from multiple data sources.
Develop and Maintain a range of visualisation products to communicate insights including manufacturing data dashboards.
Act as plant point of contact with our central innovation network, global data analytics & insights team, as well as the various IT departments within Ford Motor Company.
Develop a digital/data science team within the plant.
Deploy data analytical training and skills development within other departments within the plant.Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, a Physical Science or a related quantitative field is required or equivalent experience relevant to the field in an engineering/automotive environment.
Demonstrable problem solving skills and providing data support to manufacturing investigations.
Demonstrable competence in automating data pipelines.
Working knowledge of Big Data Analytics tools with experience of interfacing to Cloud based databases and data visualisation tools.
Demonstrable skills in writing SQL to query databases and experience in Python programming language.
Understanding of capabilities of current and future data analytical technologies.
High degree of self-initiative, drive and flexibility.
Strong ability to lead, motivate and work in a team.
Resilience is essential. Candidates must be able to deal with difficult problems whilst maintaining a positive attitude.Hours:

Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-12:30
