The school –
This is a large, fully inclusive two form-entry primary school, with the capacity for 450 children aged 3 to 11. They have extensive grounds spread around 2 main buildings. They value all members of the school community and encourage the children to be inquisitive, independent and resilient. They celebrate diversity and recognise that we are all different but capable of working side by side harmoniously. As well as providing a strong learning environment during the day they offer an extensive range of extra curricular clubs, extending learning beyond the classroom. Examples of what is on offer are a variety of sports clubs, sewing, art, choir, orchestra, band, coding, homework, yoga.
The role –
We are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant (1:1) to work with children with an EHCP. This is a full-time (27.5 hours term-time only), fixed-term position and is linked to EHCP banded funding. This will be paid on scale H1-H2 depending on experience.
