Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Primary School Teaching Assistant to support classroom teachers and help create a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to assist with lesson delivery, classroom management, and one-on-one support for students who need additional help.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
Help with classroom preparation, including organising materials and setting up activities.
Assist with behaviour management, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary.
Engage with parents and carers, promoting student success and well-being.Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable).
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
Basic understanding of child safeguarding and welfare (training provided).Benefits:
