Job Title - Assistant Manager – Domiciliary Care

Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am till 5pm with 1-hour unpaid break Salary – £25,000 per annum + £150 per month car allowance

Location – Irthlingborough Office, covering all of Northamptonshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Manager to work closely with our Registered Manager to deliver an excellent service to our clients.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the branch and will be supported by a team of dedicated office staff.

Our ideal candidate will already have supervisory experience within a domiciliary care environment and be looking for the next step in their career.
Will hold an NVQ/ QCF Diploma level 3 in Health and Social
Be willing to work towards Level 5 in Adult Care Leadership and Management
Be an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude, willing to get ‘hands-on’ when needed
For this role, you will need a full UK driving license and use of your own car.

Job Description:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, supporting the field care supervisors, carers and office staff.
Ensuring all care calls are covered by the most appropriate staff.
Carrying out new client care assessments and developing Care Plans.
Completing regular reviews with Clients and their relatives, Social Workers and other Health Professionals involved in their Care
Completing Staff, probation meetings, appraisals and supervisions.
Assisting with the recruitment of new care staff and helping them through the induction process.
Maintaining Professional relationships between other Health and Social Care professionals
Cover care calls if required
Ensure all documentation is completed in line with company policy and current regulations
Participate in on-call duties
