After successfully providing services for women, the facility has expanded to offer services for male patients and is launching a brand-new Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The team is focused on delivering outstanding care and is looking for professionals who are passionate about making a difference.
The Role: As a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will play a crucial role within the Multi-Disciplinary Team. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising a team and contributing to their professional development, including training and appraisals.
Monitoring and reviewing patient care plans.
Evaluating and responding to changes in patient conditions and needs.
Delivering high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.
Developing therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
Leading shifts and mentoring student nurses and junior team members.
Adhering to all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation while promoting ethical practice.
Requirements:
A valid nursing qualification and NMC registration.
Strong teamwork skills, self-motivation, and a flexible approach to working hours—units operate 24/7, and flexible working patterns may be considered.
A commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
A drive for continuous professional development.
