We are looking for two qualified Maintenance Electricians to join a team for a 1-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. The roles are based in the Cardiff area and involve supporting the bioresources mechanical and electrical maintenance teams in delivering planned maintenance across three Advanced Anaerobic Digestion Facilities located in South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Planned Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on various electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.

*

Inspection and Testing: Conduct detailed inspections and testing of electrical systems in accordance with the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations to verify compliance and identify any issues.

*

Asset Management: Work on a range of assets

*

Remedial Work: Identify and report on any necessary remedial work following maintenance activities and, where practicable, carry out the required repairs to maintain asset availability.

*

Reporting: Report findings to the maintenance supervisor or project lead, detailing the state of assets post-maintenance and any additional work needed to ensure continued service.

*

Collaboration: Work closely with the mechanical and electrical maintenance teams to ensure all tasks are completed within the scheduled timeframe, notifying the planning team if additional time or support is required.

Qualifications and Experience:

*

Essential Qualifications:

* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.

* Inspection and Testing qualification (e.g City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent).

*

Experience:

* Proven experience in electrical maintenance, particularly within industrial or commercial environments.

* Experience working with the asset classes listed above is highly desirable.

*

Skills:

* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

* Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Additional Information:

*

Training and Equipment: The team will be provided with all necessary equipment, internal training, and inductions required to work safely

*

Contract Details: This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.

*

Working Conditions: The position involves working 37 hours per week, with no overtime required.

*

Location: The role is based in the Cardiff area, covering multiple sites within the South Wales central region.
