Key Responsibilities:
Manage the technical development of garments from initial design through to production.
Create and maintain detailed technical packs, including size specifications, construction details, and fabric performance requirements.
Conduct fit sessions, ensuring garments meet the brand's standards for comfort, style, and functionality.
Liaise with suppliers and factories to solve any technical issues and ensure garments are produced to the highest standard.
Collaborate with design and production teams to review samples and provide feedback on fit, construction, and fabric.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety, ethical, and quality standards throughout the production process.
Continuously improve garment performance and innovation by staying updated with the latest technologies, materials, and industry trends. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Garment Technologist, ideally within casual or lifestyle apparel.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and technical specifications.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with pattern making and grading would be advantageous.
