SAP Basis & Authorization Administrator- South East Munich, Germany
I am currently supporting a global fashion and retail organisation on their search for an SAP Basis & Authorization Administrator to join their team in South East Munich on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Together with the SAP Basis team and IT service providers, you will ensure system performance and availability through tuning, capacity planning and other measures.
• Your responsibilities include monitoring with SAP Solution Manager/SAP Cloud ALM and troubleshooting S/4HANA and SAP CAR to quickly identify and resolve problems.
• The management of users and authorizations as well as the optimization of automated authorization management with XAMS (Xiting Authorizations Management Suite) is in your capable hands.
• You provide end users with advice and support when they have authorization questions and problems and pass on your knowledge in training courses to the Workstation approvers and the user help desk.
• You plan regular security audits to ensure compliance with company policies and work closely with GRC managers and auditors to ensure the integrity and security of the systems.
• You contribute your expertise and experience to authorization-relevant projects and support the planning and implementation of authorization concepts.
• You create documentation and manuals for SAP systems and solutions.

Experience required:

• At least five years of experience in SAP administration and authorization management (including SAP Solution Manager) and your very high level of process understanding will help you advance.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP authorization management and your experience in XAMS, you will deal with the authorization concept and optimize it.
• Exposure to technologies and tools such as: SAP S/S HANA, HANA databases, BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, Windows or Linux, SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, SAP CAR, Confluence and Jira.
• You work in a results-oriented manner and think analytically - also "out of the box".
• With your persuasive manner, you inspire others with new ideas and implement them independently at a high level.
• You have already gained experience in implementing SAP security measures and adhering to compliance standards and are familiar with the requirements of auditors.
• Your knowledge of planning and implementing SAP upgrades, patches and releases will make it easier for you to get started.
• You are familiar with creating documentation and manuals for SAP systems and solutions.
• Your ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems is your big advantage.
• You thrive in an agile working environment.
• You are a strong team player with communication in both German and English being a main drive to ensure you, and members of the IT team are always on the same page.
• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or business informatics - or a comparable qualification.
